Type: Part-time, 3 days per week — Monday and Friday plus one other day, with some flexibility

About us

Cutis Clinic is a specialist dermatology and plastic surgery practice in Indooroopilly. We're a busy rooms with a small team, so the person at the front desk sets the tone for the whole day. We're looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join us three days a week.

The role

You'll be the first person our patients meet and a steady hand through a busy day — managing patient flow, running an appointment book across several practitioners, and working closely with our doctors and nursing team.

Day to day:

• Greeting patients, managing arrivals and departures, and coordinating a multi-practitioner appointment book

• Processing Medicare, DVA and private health fund billing accurately

• Handling phone and email enquiries with warmth and professionalism

• Maintaining accurate electronic health records

• Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day administration

• Spotting where our processes could work better, and helping fix them

What you'll bring

Essential:

• Previous medical reception experience (specialist practice highly regarded)

• Solid working knowledge of Medicare billing, DVA claims and private health fund processing

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing demands without losing the thread

• Professional communication and presentation

• Reliability and a genuine team-first approach

• Confidence with practice management software (Gentu or Genie an advantage)

Well regarded:

• A calm, warm manner with patients, particularly those who are anxious or unwell

• The instinct to solve a problem rather than escalate it
