Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurses to join our 5 East Ward. We are looking for someone that has expertise in cardiothoracic, interventional cardiology, vascular and ENT surgeries. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
• Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care

Essential Criteria:

• Authority to Work in Australia
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
• Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
• At least 2 years' experience as Registered Nurse in cardiothoracic, interventional cardiology, vascular and ENT surgery.
• Clinical experience in one or more of the stated specialties.
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement, a salary ranging from $40.26 - $56.54 per hour
