Looking for more than just another dental assisting job?

Our practices are growing, and we have several dental assistant positions available across our Mount Gravatt and Chermside clinics. This is a chance to build a long-term career in a growing dental group, with real training behind you and a clear pathway into learning advanced clinical skills.

We are looking for people who want dentistry as a career, not an inbetween job. Experience is genuinely welcome, but it is not what we are screening for. If you have never worked in dentistry and have been looking for a way in, this is it!

We are also keen to hear from experienced assistants who are ready for more. As part of building out our team, we are establishing a Clinical Lead role at our Chermside practice, responsible for clinical standards, training and mentoring. It will be filled on merit as the team settles, and we would like at least one of these positions to be someone with the experience and leadership qualities to grow into it.

• Monthly on-site training from an external dental trainer who works alongside you at the chair, assesses your skills and helps you progress.
• Advanced skills as you grow, including photography, four-handed dentistry, scanning, implants, cosmetic treatments and training on our in-house CEREC milling and 3D printing laboratory.
• A clear career pathway. Clinical Lead roles are being established, with further senior roles to follow as we grow. We also support you in gaining your Certificate III in Dental Assisting through TAFE QLD.
• Leadership development for those who want it, including mentoring, train-the-trainer coaching and support to gain the skills needed to lead a team.

About the role

• Chairside assisting across general and specialist dentistry
• Reprocessing instruments and infection control in a dental setting
• Surgery set-up, turnaround and close-down
• Stock handling and supporting the smooth running of the day
• Looking after patient comfort from the moment they sit in the chair
• Mostly weekdays, with occasional Saturdays at Mount Gravatt shared across the team
• One position at Chermside also includes covering the front desk, so let us know if that interests you

You will likely be a great fit if you:

• Love to take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Are careful with detail, particularly where it affects the safety of others
• Stay calm and pleasant when the day gets busy
• Are warm with patients and easy to work alongside
• Are looking for a long-term career rather than a short-term job

Dental experience is a bonus, but attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn matter far more to us.

If you are an experienced assistant, we would also love to hear that you enjoy training others, take pride in high clinical standards, and are looking for a practice where that is genuinely valued.
