Drainers Offsider

We are looking for an experienced Drainer’s Offsider to join our team in Perth.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and looking to build a long-term career in drainage and civil construction, with opportunities for career progression for the right person.
About the Role You will be working alongside experienced drainers on a range of drainage and civil construction projects, including subdivision works.
Responsibilities include:

• Assisting drainers with day-to-day drainage works
• Pipe laying and installation
• Trenching and excavation
• Site preparation and clean-up
• Assisting with levels, measurements and site set-out
• General civil construction and labouring duties
• Following site safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Drainer’s Offsider
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Previous subdivision experience
• Experience in civil construction and drainage
• Good understanding of construction sites and safe work practices
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• White Card
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and progress
