The Opportunity
Based in Adelaide, you will manage commercial property claims end-to-end, from first notification through to settlement. You will enjoy a balance of on-site assessments and office-based work, engaging with policyholders, insurers, and service providers to deliver fair and timely outcomes in line with regulatory and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage claims across the full lifecycle from lodgement to settlement
• Conduct site inspections and assess commercial property losses
• Review policies to determine coverage and liability
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the claims process
• Produce clear, high-quality reports and meet SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards
• Negotiate and settle claims within delegated authority

About You

• Experience in commercial claims or loss adjusting
• Solid understanding of general insurance practices
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Well organised, analytical, and able to manage competing priorities
• Professional, customer-focused, and empathetic in your approach
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in loss adjusting or commercial claims
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Loss adjusting qualifications or relevant professional qualifications (preferred)
