About the role
At Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA), our team members work together to design, deliver and support the sustainable energy solutions industries depend on.
From defence and data centres to mining operations, utilities and major infrastructure projects, the work we do keeps essential operations running.
As the Cat® engine dealer for Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, EPSA provides world-class power solutions backed by global innovation and local expertise.
Across sales, engineering, operations, projects and support teams, every role plays a part in keeping industries moving and communities powered.
If you're looking to contribute to something bigger and help shape what’s next, this is an opportunity to do meaningful work with real impact.
As a Data Centre Relationship Manager, you will work closely with data centre owners, operators, consultants, EPCs and other key industry stakeholders to build trusted relationships, strengthen EPSA's market presence and provide valuable insights into one of Australia's fastest-growing sectors.
Drawing on your technical understanding, industry curiosity and relationship-building skills, you'll become a key connection point between the data centre market and EPSA. You'll maintain visibility across emerging opportunities, industry movements and customer priorities, helping ensure we remain engaged with the right stakeholders at the right time.
Partnering across sales, engineering, project delivery, bid and service teams, you'll play an important role in supporting customer engagement, strengthening industry relationships and providing market intelligence that informs future opportunities. The role can be based in Sydney (Eastern Creek branch), Melbourne (Mulgrave HQ), Brisbane (Heathwood).
Key responsibilities include:
Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre operators, consultants, EPCs, packagers and other key stakeholders across Australia.
Develop a deep understanding of the data centre market, identifying emerging projects, industry trends and customer priorities.
Maintain accurate account mapping and opportunity visibility within Salesforce, ensuring a clear view of key stakeholders and market activity.
Represent EPSA at industry events, customer engagements and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence and industry connections.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer insights, market intelligence and relationship support throughout the project lifecycle.
We're looking for someone who brings both technical capability and a collaborative mindset.
Experience in account management, customer success, technical account management, industry engagement or relationship-focused roles.
Strong ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience gathering, analysing and communicating market intelligence or customer insights.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate CRM records and customer information.
Experience within the data centre, critical infrastructure, power generation, engineering, construction or mission-critical industries.
Understanding of data centre design, construction or operational environments.
Engineering, technical, business or related tertiary qualifications.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Existing relationships within the Australian data centre industry.
At EPSA, our team members are trusted to solve complex challenges and deliver real outcomes for customers across Australia.
We believe great work happens when people feel supported, valued and connected to the impact of what they do — and when teams work together with integrity, accountability and care.
We offer:
Structured onboarding and development through Cat® University.
Paid birthday leave and volunteer leave.
Team member recognition and service awards.
Referral program incentives.
Retail and health insurance discounts.
Novated leasing options.
We'd love to hear from you. If you're passionate about building relationships, understanding industry trends and helping shape EPSA's presence within the growing data centre sector, we'd encourage you to apply today.
Join EPSA and help deliver the power solutions industries depend on.
