An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Jubilee Tavern, located in the heart of the stunning Whitsundays.

Following a major renovation, the venue has entered an exciting new chapter, unveiling a brand-new bistro, sports bar and beer garden while continuing to cement itself as one of Airlie Beach's favourite family-friendly locals.

We're looking for a passionate leader who is ready to take ownership of the kitchen, inspire a talented team, and bring fresh ideas to an already thriving venue. This is your chance to make your mark in a newly transformed space while enjoying the incredible Whitsundays lifestyle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor and develop a passionate kitchen team
• Drive a positive, high-performing kitchen culture
• Work alongside the Venue Manager to deliver an exceptional food offering
• Manage food costs, labour, ordering and stock control
• Maintain outstanding food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Get creative with seasonal specials and menu innovation while delivering quality pub favourites
• Train and support the next generation of chefs, helping your team develop their skills and careers

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up
• Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for coaching and developing others
• Sound financial acumen, including labour and cost control
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• A hands-on leader who leads by example
• Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences
