Greencross Westcourt-Cairns, located in tropical Cairns, is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our brand new clinic at Westcourt with availability to work on Saturdays as part of the role.

Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday, giving you plenty of time to explore the lush tropical rainforests, Great Barrier Reef, stunning beaches, spectacular waterfalls, freshwater creeks, walking tracks, and camping spots right on our doorstep.

Job Description
In this role, you’ll be exposed to all aspects of small animal practice, and will also have the opportunity to treat a range of native wildlife brought into the clinic, from wallabies, curlews, frogs and snakes to lizards and many bird species.

Our team has an established and loyal client base with over 30 years of service in the community. You’ll be joining experienced vets, skilled nurses, and our groomer, all working together to provide team-based, high-quality patient care.

Our clinic features:

• 4 consult rooms with natural sunlight

• 2 treatment tables

• A surgical theatre

• Radiology room

• Isolation ward

• Post-op recovery cages

• Separate dog and cat wards

• A dedicated staff area with shower, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and a lounge/mindfulness corner

We’re fully equipped with dental X-ray, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house pathology to support your work.
