Overview of Role
An exciting internal opportunity is available for a Finance Manager, Operations to join the ANZ Finance team. This senior finance business partnering role supports the manufacturing network across Australia and New Zealand, helping drive financial performance, cost discipline and commercially sound decision-making across multiple sites. This role will lead and develop a team of site finance business partners. The successful candidate will work closely with Site Managers, Operations Managers, Supply Chain, and senior finance leaders to translate operational activity into timely, accurate and insightful financial outcomes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of site-based finance business partners.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain leaders to identify and track cost-out, productivity and performance improvement initiatives.
Ensure clear standardised site KPI's and financial analysis of deviations and action orientated recommendations to improve site outcomes.
Review plant-level financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis across the manufacturing network, with key focus on insights to assist in decision making of the Business Unit.
Key finance representative in the ITP/IBP Process to ensure alignment and drive outcomes.
Focus on standardisation and process improvement to create efficiencies and allow team to focus on site performance and insights.
Review capital expenditure business cases and support post-implementation reviews of major projects.
Maintain strong financial controls and support internal and external audit requirements. This includes inventory controls and balance sheet management.
The right candidate will be or have
Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline, with CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experienced in manufacturing, industrial or FMCG finance environments, ideally with multi-site exposure.
Strong Background in cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management and plant-level P & L reporting.
Confident business partner who can influence operational leaders and translate financial analysis into practical recommendations.
Comfortable working in a matrix environment and leading geographically dispersed teams.
Strong excel, ERP and reporting capability, with Power BI or similar dashboarding experience advantageous.
Willing and able to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand manufacturing sites.
