Parts Interpreter

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Understand customer requirements and identify the parts they need.
• Provide accurate parts information, advice and support to customers and internal staff.
• Prepare and process parts orders and enquiries accurately and efficiently
• Identify opportunities to increase parts sales and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining an organised parts display.
• Participate in stocktakes and assist with maintaining accurate inventory.
• Follow up customer enquiries and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

• Has the ability to build professional relationships with customers and identify parts sales opportunities.
• Has good problem-solving skills and can manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Can interpret technical diagrams, or is willing to learn.
• Has experience with parts merchandising, parts sales and ordering systems.
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Is comfortable working in a busy, customer-focused environment.
• Is willing to work weekends when required.

Previous experience in construction machinery or a similar parts role would be an advantage. However, we are also open to someone who is new to the industry and has the right attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to providing great customer service.
