Our Business is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of building products for new homes. The Group services over 500 customers and has 7 offices around Australia supplying and installing products to some of Australia's largest building companies. Most of all, we aim to be our customers’ supplier of first choice by consistently providing outstanding products, excellent service and mutually beneficial partnerships.
THE ROLE
We currently have a position for a Warehouse Assistant to support our Tarneit operations. Located in Tarneit, this role is essential to continuing our commitment to providing builders with a first class experience from an installation partner on site. Previous experience in the warehousing roles, including forklift operation is essential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Receiving, checking, unpacking and storing incoming goods
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment to move and manage stock
Supporting internal teams and providing a high level of service to customers
Maintaining a clean, organised and safety-focused warehouse environment
Working closely with a small team where reliability and teamwork matter
Occasional delivery of products to site via company vehicles
Ideal Applicant:
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or dispatch environment
Minimum 2 years of warehouse or dispatch experience is required
Forklift and current driver's licence
Strong attention to detail and pride in accurate work
A practical, hands-on attitude with the ability to work autonomously
Good communication skills
Physically capable of handling warehouse duties safely
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
