Administration Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Administration Supervisor to lead our administration team at Peel Health Campus in Mandurah.

Peel Health Campus is a busy hospital environment providing emergency, inpatient and outpatient services to the growing Peel region. As Administration Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our imaging administration services while supporting a high-performing, patient-focused team.

Reporting to the Regional Manager you will oversee the day-to-day administration function including team leadership, rostering, patient bookings and arrivals, billing, workflow coordination and liaison with hospital and clinical teams.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will remain involved in daily operations while coaching and supporting your team to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, referrers and internal stakeholders.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with occasional flexibility to support additional coverage where rarely required.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Administration Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and support the site administration team, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching and development
• Coordinate rosters, leave and staffing coverage to support effective service delivery
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of administration staff
• Oversee patient bookings, registrations, pre-procedure information, billing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and excellent patient service
• Coordinate inpatient, outpatient and urgent bookings with hospital, technical and clinical teams
• Monitor administration workflows, ensuring efficient use of appointments, accurate patient data and completion of end-of-day processes
• Build strong working relationships with Radiologists, imaging teams, hospital staff and referring practitioners
• Maintain high standards of administration, patient care and compliance with company, privacy and WHS requirements

ABOUT YOU

You will be an experienced administration professional who enjoys leading people while remaining hands-on in a busy operational environment.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience leading an administration, reception or customer service team
• Experience within healthcare, medical imaging or a similar fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of patient administration, bookings and billing processes
• Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and hospital billing would be highly regarded
• Experience with RIS/PACS or similar healthcare systems, along with strong general computer skills
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a supportive, hands-on leadership style
• A genuine commitment to delivering professional and compassionate patient service
• Certificate IV in Business Administration or Business Management would be advantageous
