Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the daily operations of the facility kitchen and meal services
• Ensure all meals meet nutritional, dietary, allergen, and texture requirements
• Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and service delivery
• Oversee menu planning, food ordering, and stock control
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, and WHS requirements
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a high-performing team culture
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement continuous improvements
• Collaborate with management to optimise productivity and service delivery

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Catering or Commercial Cookery
• Food Safety Supervisor certification
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance
• Proven leadership and team management experience

• Experience in aged care or similar environments
• Experience managing small kitchen teams
