CCW & CO PTY LTD Domain Flooring is seeking an experienced and reliable Floor Coverer / Flooring Installer to join our growing team. We work across residential and commercial projects, delivering high quality flooring installations with a strong focus on workmanship, customer service and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and has experience installing a range of flooring products, including carpet, vinyl, timber, laminate, hybrid flooring and other resilient floor coverings.

Key Responsibilities ? Visit residential and commercial sites to inspect floors, take accurate measurements and review plans before installation. ? Calculate the quantity of flooring materials, underlay, adhesives, trims and other supplies required for each project.

? Prepare floor surfaces by removing old flooring, cleaning and levelling subfloors, repairing minor imperfections and ensuring the area is ready for installation. ? Remove and refit skirting boards, baseboard trims and other fittings where required to achieve a neat finish. ? Measure, cut and install underlay materials suitable for carpet, timber, vinyl and other flooring products.

? Install carpets, vinyl, linoleum, laminate, hybrid flooring, parquetry blocks, cork tiles and other resilient floor coverings. ? Cut flooring materials accurately around doors, corners, stairs, fixtures, cabinetry and other site features. ? Match patterns, align joins and ensure all flooring is laid evenly and professionally.

? Secure floor coverings using appropriate adhesives, nails, staples or fixing methods. ? Install edge trims, transition strips and doorway finishes to complete each installation safely and neatly. ? Sand, stain and apply finishing coatings to timber floors where required.

? Carry out minor repairs, replacement work and maintenance on existing flooring. ? Install wall, ceiling, counter and bench coverings when required for specific projects. ? Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organised condition.

? Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times. ? Communicate professionally with clients, builders, supervisors and other trades on site. Skills and Experience Required ?

Relevant qualification in flooring installation, floor covering, carpentry or a related trade, or at least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience. ? Experience installing a variety of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, timber, laminate and hybrid flooring. ? Strong measuring, cutting and problem-solving skills.

? Ability to read plans, follow specifications and work independently. ? High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes. ? Physical fitness and ability to perform manual work, including lifting flooring materials and working on knees for extended periods.

? White Card is preferred. ? Current driver’s licence is preferred. ? Ability to work well as part of a team and meet project deadlines.

What We Offer ? Full-time permanent position ?

Salary package between $70,000 To $85,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience ? Supportive team environment ?
