The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team at Tamborine Mountain Glades.

This is a hands-on role supporting our chefs and kitchen team to keep service running smoothly. You will play an important part in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen across our restaurant, café, weddings, conferences and events.

Key responsibilities include:

• Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and work areas
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required
• Receiving, moving and storing kitchen supplies
• Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Assisting with functions, weddings, conferences and special events

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
• Physically capable of being on their feet and completing manual tasks throughout a shift
• Organised and able to work efficiently
• Positive, respectful and willing to help the team
• Able to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards
• Flexible to work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or hospitality environment is an advantage, but attitude and reliability are most important.
