About the Role
We are seeking two part-time, teaching-focused academics to join the Discipline of Psychiatry within the Graduate School of Medicine. One position will be based at Wollongong/Shellharbour Hospital and the other at Shoalhaven or Southern Highlands.
Both positions provide academic leadership in Psychiatry across the University of Wollongong's Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. The roles lead psychiatry curriculum development and delivery, contribute specialist expertise to assessment design, and support research and scholarly activity within the discipline.
The successful candidates will leverage their clinical and educational networks to expand medical student learning opportunities across local, rural and regional health settings. They will also work collaboratively with clinician educators and psychiatrists across MD training hubs, providing leadership to support a high-quality and consistent student learning experience.

Appointment will be made at Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C), commensurate with qualifications and experience. Advanced Trainees will be appointed at Level B, while Fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) will be appointed at Level C.
