Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in rural health while enjoying the lifestyle of South Australia’s stunning coastline?
We are seeking a motivated Physiotherapist (AHP1 or AHP2) to join our Community & Allied Health team based in Port Lincoln or Ceduna. Whether you are an early-career clinician (AHP1) building your professional foundations, or an experienced practitioner (AHP2) ready to apply advanced clinical skills and leadership capability, we welcome your application, with classification and responsibilities aligned to your qualifications and experience.
In this rewarding rural generalist role, you will deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient, paediatric and aged care settings, using preventative, early intervention, treatment and health promotion approaches. You will be supported by a strong clinical supervision framework tailored to your level - with structured supervision and mentorship at AHP1 level, and increasing autonomy and leadership opportunities at AHP2 level.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to improving health outcomes across the Eyre and Far North Region. The position is based in either Port Lincoln or Ceduna, with opportunities to provide services across multiple regional sites on a rostered basis.
You will also benefit from access to regional professional networks, active participation in physiotherapy and allied health forums, and ongoing professional development opportunities to support your career progression - whether you are consolidating foundational skills or further developing advanced clinical and leadership capabilities.
How Will You Contribute?
Depending on your classification (AHP1 or AHP2), you will:
At the AHP2 level, you will work under reduced clinical direction, contribute professional leadership within the team, support coordination of regional services, and assist in the supervision and development of emerging clinicians.
