We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Accountant to join our dynamic team at Azar Labour Hire in Adelaide, South Australia. As a full-time Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing accounting and finance functions.

Azar Labour hire manages the accounts across three companies:

• Fidens Disability Company

• Fidens Aged Care Company

• Steadfast Solar

• Power Hub Electrical

Azar Labour hire handles the financial side of the businesses, making sure records are accurate, processes are efficient, and everything stays on track. It’s a key role that supports each company’s day-to-day operations and ongoing growth.

What you'll be doing

• Payroll

• Accounts payable & receivable

• Bank reconciliations

• Reporting

• Data entry and financial record keeping

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Performing account reconciliations, data analysis, and reporting

• Providing support in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings

• Participating in the month-end close process and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

• Assisting with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and insightful financial information

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (XERO, ZOHO and Microsoft Excel)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
