Site Operations Manager | Dangerous Goods & Gas Transport

We're looking for an experienced and resilient Site Operations Manager to lead one of DHL Supply Chain's most high-profile transport operations based in Fairfield, NSW.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a complex operation that includes:

• Leading a critical 24/7 transport operation for a major customer.
• Managing a team of up to 30+ drivers across packaged and bulk deliveries.

Experience within Dangerous Goods, gas, fuel or other highly regulated transport environments is highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience leading transport, logistics or 3PL operations.
• Experience as a Site Operations Manager, Transport Manager or Operations Manager, or be a high-performing Transport Supervisor ready to step into a larger leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead large operational teams and build a culture of accountability, engagement and performance.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and confidently manage challenging conversations.
• Commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, cost control and operational performance.
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Dangerous Goods, gas, fuel, chemical or other regulated transport experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
• Strong systems capability, including Excel, Teams and operational reporting tools. Experience with Chronos is advantageous.
