The Role

SRG Global are currently seeking Trade qualified First Class Sheet Metal Workers and experienced Laggers/Insulators to join our team in Alcoa for an upcoming Shutdown in Wagerup. Long-term work is available for the right candidates. If you're ready to be part of a high-performing crew — this is the role for you!

Immediate positions:

Aloca (Wagerup) - Pre-Shut

• Duration: 17/08/2026 - 11/09/2026
• Hours: Pre-Shut (10 Hour Days)
• Start: 17/08/2026
• Base + Penalties + Site Allowance + Meal Allowance + Travel Allowance

Aloca (Wagerup) - Shutdown

• Duration: 13/09/2026 - 22/09/2026
• Hours: Shutdown (12 Hour Days)
• Start: 13/09/2026
• Base + Penalties + Site Allowance + Meal Allowance + Travel Allowance

The successful applicant will have:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant trade experience
• Relevant Trade Qualification - Light Fabrication (for first class sheet metal workers)
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• Current Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
• High Risk Work Licence: LF and EWP (Desirable)
• White Card

• Valid Driver's Licence
• Asbestos Handling License (highly regarded)

• Ability to pass site medical testing requirements
