Qualifications & Experience

• Ability to communicate with all staff

• Can read cutting lists and work orders

• Use of power tools

• Prior experience in making windows, kitchen cabinets or a role where you were required to assemble products to a high standard

• Experience operating a CNC machine would be an advantage

• Attention to detail

• Quality focused

 Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manufacture of European uPVC double glazed windows & doors

• Identify all different types of profiles, steel reinforcements and hardware used to manufacture uPVC windows and doors

• Proactively work through jobs in order of demand, collecting the next work order, updating software and completing paperwork to maintain traceability records

• Load the Double-Glazed van on an as needs basis for deliveries to site

• Unload deliveries, check-off stock and put away as directed

• Effectively manage your time, keeping in line with job deadlines and expectations

• Physically fit

• Work as part of a team adhering to factory health and safety processes

• Safely and effectively use all machinery

• Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times

• Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager

Benefits

Excellent minimum working hours of a 38hr week – 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 1.00pm Friday giving you an early start to the weekend. Overtime is available as approved.
