Support Facilitator

$92,575/pa + superannuation + salary sacrifice

Full Time Fixed Term position

About the role:

We are currently seeking Support Facilitator to join our team in Barcaldine/Longreach. Our Support Facilitator provides assertive outreach, responsive and timely psychosocial support to highly vulnerable participants, who have experienced suicide attempts or suicidal crisis. 

 What will a typical day look like?

• Collaborate with people experiencing a suicidial crisis or who have attempted suicide, along with family members and/or formal or informal carers
• Provide support that is proactive, sustained, persistent, trauma informed, recovery oriented and strengths based
• Make or advocate for referral to community-based services 
• Facilitate participant engagement in service development.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Diploma level qualifications in a Mental Health related field.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
• Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
