About the Role

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll work with preschool and primary school-aged children and their families to support participation, development and independence across home, school and community environments.

Using a family-centred and strengths-based approach, you'll deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention and support that helps children build skills and confidence.

You will:

• Assess and support motor skills, play, self-regulation and executive functioning
• Develop individualised, family-centred therapy plans
• Deliver individual and group-based interventions
• Partner with families to identify goals and meaningful outcomes
• Collaborate with clinicians, schools and community services
• Facilitate group programs, education sessions and health promotion activities
• Contribute to service innovation, quality improvement and best practice initiatives
• Maintain high-quality documentation and client records
• Support students and contribute to team development

About You

You're a passionate Occupational Therapist who enjoys building relationships, working collaboratively and helping children and families achieve what matters most to them.

You'll bring:

• Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility for registration)
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
• Experience or knowledge in paediatric occupational therapy, community health or allied health services
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work effectively with children, families and multidisciplinary teams
• A commitment to family-centred, strengths-based and evidence-based practice
• Current Working With Children Check and Victorian Driver Licence
• Experience working within the NDIS funding model is desirable
