Reports To: Senior Delivery Manager – Head of PMOLocation Remote (QLD, ACT, NSW or VIC), with travel to client and cleared sites as required.Employment Type: Contract or Permanent, full-timeClearance & Eligibility: Australian Government security clearance (NV1 or NV2 desirable)
Role PurposeThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex Professional Services projects from initiation through to closure.Working within Cleared's PMO, the role is accountable for managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and stakeholder expectations while ensuring all projects comply with Cleared's delivery framework and governance standards.This role works closely with the Senior Delivery Manager – Head of PMO to ensure projects are delivered consistently, professionally and with a strong focus on customer success.
Key AccountabilitiesLead multiple concurrent Professional Services projects from initiation through to completion.Deliver projects on time, within scope, budget and quality expectations.Manage project handover into operational support and ensure all customer deliverables, documentation and acceptance criteria are completed.Develop project plans, manage schedules, resources, dependencies and milestones.Facilitate project kick-offs, governance meetings, status reporting and project close-out.Act as the primary delivery contact for customers.Build strong relationships with clients and internal delivery teams.Provide clear project communications and manage stakeholder expectations.Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining customer confidence.Maintain project documentation, RAID registers and reporting.Monitor commercial performance, including utilisation and delivery outcomes.Develop mitigation strategies and support informed decision-making.
Skills & ExperienceEssential7+ years' experience delivering complex IT infrastructure, cloud or enterprise technology projects.Proven experience working on the vendor/service-provider side of technology delivery, with direct accountability for delivering Professional Services projects to end customers.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.Strong project management, governance, budgeting and resource management skills.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Ability to work independently in a consulting or professional services environment.
DesirableExperience delivering projects involving:Cloud, virtualisation and enterprise infrastructureVMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)Networking, storage and automationDefence or Government environments
