Cafe Manager

We are on the search for an experienced Cafe Manager/Supervisor to lead our Fuel Bakery Cafe. If your someone who loves customer service, creating relationships and thrives in a fast paced environment with the leadership to match, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a hand-on leadership role where youll be managing the day to day operations that keep our cafe running smoothly. Working closely with the head barista & operations manager youll help deliver exceptional coffee, exceptional customer service and hospitality that Fuel Bakery is known for!

We are a small cafe looking to make its mark in St Peters.

This is a role where you can build a steady career with more locations on the plans, and current renovations to expand our offering in St Peters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading from the front and creating an exceptional customer experience every day
• Building a positive, supportive team culture where everyone can thrive
• Overseeing daily operations of the cafe to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Managing staff rosters, daily check lists and day to day staff requirements
• Recruiting, onboarding and training of new staff members
• Managing online orders, pre orders and custom orders for customers
• Ensuring food saftey, hygiene and OH&S standards are always met
• Monitoring stock levels and liasing with suppliers to make sure appropriate stock levels are met each week
• Monitoring cafe performance each week and working with the operations manager to make improvements where needed
• Preparing weekly sales reports and updating the operations manager

Who we are looking for:

• 2-3 years experience as a cafe manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role
• 2-3 years experience as a barista with advanced skills working with specialty coffee
• Strong organisational, operational and financial management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• A positive attitude, calm leadership skills and hand on approach
• Full Australian working rights
• Available weekends

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
