As our Digital Activation Manager (Social), you'll play a pivotal role in driving paid social performance for Samsung Australia, leading campaigns across an expansive portfolio that includes Mobile/Galaxy, TV & AV, Digital Appliances, and emerging innovations that shape how Australians live, work and connect.

This is far more than a campaign execution role. You'll own the activation, optimisation and evolution of Samsung's paid social ecosystem across Meta, TikTok, X and Reddit, leveraging the latest AI-powered advertising solutions, advanced measurement frameworks and platform innovations to influence business outcomes at scale. From launching flagship products and driving demand generation to optimising towards revenue and conversion growth, you'll be at the forefront of social-first performance marketing.

You'll have the freedom to challenge convention, experiment with new technologies and help shape how one of Australia's most ambitious brands approaches paid social.

What key accountabilities does this role have?

• Lead paid social activation and optimisation across Meta, TikTok, X and Reddit for Samsung Australia.
• Drive platform-led solutions including Advantage+, Smart+ and emerging social search opportunities.
• Develop and execute structured testing frameworks that enhance creative performance and campaign effectiveness.
• Manage audience strategies across key campaign phases including Tease, Pre-Order, Launch and Sustain.
• Optimise campaigns towards qualified traffic, lead generation, sales and revenue outcomes.
• Use AI-powered tools and analytics to manage pacing, performance, budget allocation and ongoing optimisation.
• Measure campaign effectiveness through conversion lift studies, advanced analytics and reporting frameworks.
• Maintain best-practice governance, campaign hygiene, taxonomy and operational excellence across all activity.
• Collaborate closely with strategy, planning, analytics, client and creative teams to deliver integrated outcomes

What are the key skills and requirements for this role?

• Experience managing paid social campaigns across Meta and TikTok, with exposure to X and Reddit highly regarded, ideally within a media agency or in-house digital team.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing, audience strategy and conversion-focused campaign optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with Advantage+, Smart+, creative testing and automation-led advertising solutions.
• Confidence interpreting campaign data and translating insights into clear recommendations and actions.
• Experience managing budgets, reporting frameworks, measurement and campaign governance.
• Curiosity about emerging technology, AI and the evolving social media landscape.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• A growth mindset and passion for continuous learning within a fast-moving environment.
• Understanding of the Australian digital and social media landscape.
• A strong collaborator, with a proactive nature and positive mindset.
• Exposure working across a Tier 1 tech, retail, or mobile client (nice to have), ideally within a multi-market team structure (also a nice to have, but not essential).
