We are currently seeking a talented and reliable Chef/cook to join our growing team.

About the Role:

This is a part time with the option of full-time position for the right candidate. Daytime role focused on shop kitchen operations and catering preparation.

The successful candidate will be confident running a kitchen independently while working closely with a small, supportive team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Running the kitchen during daytime service

• Preparing food for both shop service and catering events

• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

• Maintain exceptional kitchen cleanliness and organisation, ensuring all areas consistently meet strict food safety and sanitation standards

• Ordering and stock management

• Inventory control and stock rotation

• Ensuring food is prepared and served to high quality standards

• Maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas

• Working collaboratively with the team to deliver great service

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Chef or experienced cook

• Ability to run a kitchen independently

• Strong kitchen organisation skills

• High attention to detail and food presentation

• Strong time management and problem-solving ability

• Excellent communication and teamwork

• Passion for delivering quality food

*Competitive salary package negotiated on experience and availability.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
