About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Design Coordinator to manage the interface between construction and design teams on Design & Construct (D&C) projects. Reporting to the Regional Design Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring designs are practical, aligned to project objectives, and deliverable on site. You will collaborate with construction teams, design consultants and clients to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

Lead the interface between Construction Teams, Design Consultants and ClientsFacilitate constructability reviews, design workshops and coordination meetingsReview designs for compliance, optimisation and constructabilityMonitor design progress, milestones and deliverablesSupport project scoping, estimating, programming and risk managementTrack consultant performance, invoices and forecasting requirementsIdentify and manage design risks, opportunities and project growthSupport preparation of consultancy agreements (TSA/CSA)Contribute to bid management and pre-contract activitiesBuild strong internal and external stakeholder relationships

About You

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical)Experience in construction project administration and cost controlStrong understanding of design management within D&C environmentsAbility to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive outcomesCommercial awareness and risk management capabilityStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience using platforms such as Civillo, InEight, Aconex, Navisworks or Bluebeam will be highly regarded.
