Our Facilities Team plays a vital hands-on role in maintaining and enhancing our College campuses to provide safe, functional, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our Facilities Team. This hands-on role is primarily responsible for the landscaping, presentation, and upkeep of our College grounds while also undertaking general maintenance activities that support the day-to-day operation of our campuses.

This position is offered on a full-time basis; however, we are open to discussing a part-time arrangement for the right candidate. With consistent Monday to Friday hours, the role offers excellent work-life balance while building a rewarding and stable career.

Your Role

• Maintain the College grounds through landscaping, gardening, irrigation, turf care, and grounds maintenance.
• Undertake landscaping projects and general maintenance, including minor building repairs and painting.
• Safely operate and maintain grounds equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team, contractors, and College staff.
• Assist with campus projects, event setups, relocations, and other operational duties.
• Support a positive team culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.

About You

• Experience in landscaping, horticulture, grounds, and general maintenance.
• Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment and power tools.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work safely in a school environment and undertake physically demanding work.
• Hold an Open Manual Driver's Licence and a Blue Card (or be willing to obtain one before commencement).
• A practising Christian or someone who actively supports the College's Christian mission and values.
