Motion Graphics Artist / Multimedia Designer

About the role

Working as part of our creative and production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics, animation and multimedia content from initial brief and concept development through to final production and delivery. The role combines strong motion design and animation skills with broader multimedia design responsibilities, including interpreting creative briefs, developing visual concepts, preparing design solutions and working collaboratively with clients and internal creative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients, Creative Directors and internal stakeholders to understand the objectives, creative direction and constraints of project briefs.
• Research and analyse project requirements to determine appropriate visual and communication approaches.
• Develop creative concepts, storyboards, style frames and visual treatments for motion graphics, animation and multimedia projects.
• Prepare sketches, layouts, illustrations, diagrams and other visual materials to communicate design concepts.
• Design and produce motion graphics, animation and multimedia content for architectural, property and creative projects.
• Translate static design concepts and visual assets into engaging animated and motion-based content.
• Work with clients, Creative Directors, producers and production teams to develop, present and refine design solutions.
• Respond to client and internal feedback and incorporate revisions throughout the design and production process.
• Select and recommend appropriate visual styles, design elements, media and production techniques based on the requirements of each project.
• Carry out production of approved concepts using appropriate motion graphics, animation and multimedia software.

About you

• Relevant qualifications in motion design, multimedia design, animation, graphic design or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in motion graphics, animation or multimedia design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation and visual design capabilities.
• Strong skills in relevant Adobe Creative Suite and motion graphics/animation software.
• An understanding of typography, composition, colour, movement and visual storytelling.
• Experience developing creative concepts from initial brief through to final production.
• The ability to interpret creative direction and client feedback and translate this into effective visual outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of creative execution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced creative studio environment.
