Immediate Start -12v Auto Electrician

Project Overlander is seeking an experienced 12V Auto Electrician to join our growing team for an immediate start.

We specialise in premium 4WD touring vehicles, American trucks and complete overland builds. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, custom projects rather than repetitive dealership work.

The role

You’ll be responsible for installing, wiring and diagnosing a wide range of 12V systems, including:

• REDARC battery-management and RedVision systems

• Lithium battery and dual-battery systems

• Inverters, solar panels and 240V integration

• Canopy and vehicle electrical fit-outs

• Lighting, switching, accessories and power outlets

• UHF radios, compressors and touring accessories

• Fault-finding, testing and system commissioning

• Producing neat, properly protected and labelled wiring installations

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has proven automotive 12V electrical experience

• Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship

• Can read wiring diagrams and confidently diagnose faults

• Can work independently and as part of a larger build team

• Is organised, reliable and committed to completing work properly

• Holds a current Australian driver licence

• Has experience with 4WDs, touring builds, canopies or American trucks

A qualified Automotive Electrician is preferred, although experienced 12V installers with a strong portfolio of work are encouraged to apply.
