Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support. This is a senior hands-on role that combines Azure cloud engineering with full-stack software development. You will work closely with senior engineering stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing applications while driving engineering best practices and mentoring the development team.

· Design, build and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep), Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, networking and landing zones.

· Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET, React and TypeScript.

· Build and maintain API integrations with internal and external platforms.

· Lead the adoption of AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, establishing best practices across the team.

· Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring and engineering standards.

· Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, highly available and aligned with PCI and data privacy requirements.

· Collaborate with Solution Architects to implement enterprise architecture and technical standards.

· Drive continuous improvement across development practices, DevOps processes and software quality.

Required Skills & Experience

· Proven experience designing, building and operating Azure cloud infrastructure and microservices in enterprise environments.

· Strong hands-on experience with .NET development, REST APIs, React, TypeScript, Entity Framework, SQL and relational databases.

· Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar senior technical role.

· Experience using AI-assisted software engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar.

· Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy and CI/CD pipelines.

· Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

· Experience with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and observability practices.

· Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AWS will be highly regarded.

Qualifications & Clearance

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

· Microsoft Azure certifications are highly desirable.

· Full Australian working rights.
