Machine Operator

BINGO is on the lookout for our next Machine Operator to join our recycling centre in West Melbourne. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering great rates, consistent shifts, guaranteed hours, and overtime opportunities. You'll play a key role in helping BINGO achieve its mission of creating a Waste Free Australia by operating excavators and loaders to recover and sort recyclable materials, ensuring valuable resources are diverted from landfill and given a new life.

How are you important to us?

Our machine operators are working towards BINGO's clear purpose of diverting waste from landfill to be reprocessed and recycled by identifying and sorting our heavy recyclable materials in one of our excavator and front end loader machines. You will assist in the recovery of recyclable materials such as bricks, concrete, tiles, steel and timber - helping us push for a Waste Free Australia!

What you bring:

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating an excavator and/or front-end loader - Strong preference for people coming from Waste Industry, or have processing experience

• Ability to work a day shift - Permanent role, guaranteed Hours

• Relevant licences and tickets, VOC training is acceptable

• Waste industry, or relevant industries - Ie Processing/Manufacturing/Other heavy industry fields

• We care about your safety first so the ability to read and understand safety signs and communicate clearly into a 2-way radio is very important

• Current drivers' licence and own transport due to limited public transport options
