At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in creating a learning environment that inspires children to explore taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef, each day you can:

• Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
• Greet our wonderful families with a big, warm, friendly smile each day, and wow them with your barista-made coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)
• Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators

• Ensure the highest level of food safety by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen in accordance with the Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards

• Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen in running each day smoothly.

About You:

• A current SA Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
• Current SA Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
• Current HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate and CPR  (or willing to obtain)
• National Child Safety Training (or willing to obtain)
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or willing to obtain)
• Availability to work Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm 
• The willingness to step up into the Chef’s role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
