Founded in 1998 in the heart of Sydney, Australia, MindChamps International Preschool & Early Learning (“MindChamps”) is a pioneering global early childhood education organisation with 86 centres operating across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
At MindChamps, we believe the early years are the foundation for lifelong learning. Our purpose is to nurture children’s curiosity, confidence, creativity, and love of learning through meaningful educational experiences that support every child to reach their full potential.
Our educators are at the heart of this mission. We believe exceptional outcomes for children begin with passionate, knowledgeable, and empowered educators who are supported to lead, grow, innovate, and make a lasting impact.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team at our MindChamps service in Wheeler Heights.
If you are an inspiring early childhood professional who enjoys leading a team, creating meaningful learning experiences, and supporting children to thrive, we would love to welcome you to our growing community.
Your Role as a Room Leader
As a Room Leader at MindChamps, you will play a key role in leading your team and creating a high-quality learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

• Creating and implementing engaging educational programs that reflect children’s individual interests,
strengths, abilities, and developmental needs.
• Embedding intentional teaching practices aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Leading curriculum planning, observations, documentation, reflections, and continuous improvement
practices.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every child feels valued and a sense of
belonging.
• Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community.
• Mentoring, guiding, and supporting educators to strengthen their confidence, knowledge, and professional
practice.
• Acting as a positive role model and promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professionalism within the
service.
• Ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and inclusion remain at the centre of all decisions and practices.
• Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, and National Quality
Standards.
• Supporting the Centre Director and leadership team to achieve strong quality outcomes and continuous
improvement.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a meaningful contribution as a Room Leader.
You will have:
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA recognised equivalent qualification.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Child protection training (including mandatory reporting requirements).
• Willingness to undergo a Police Check.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards
and contemporary early childhood practices.
• Previous experience leading or supporting an early childhood room.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support educators within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and
colleagues.
• Experience with programming, documentation, reflective practice, and quality improvement.
• A flexible, adaptable, and solution-focused approach.
• A genuine passion for children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
• A commitment to continuous professional growth and creating positive outcomes for children.
Why Join MindChamps?
At MindChamps, we recognise that great educators create great outcomes for children. As a Room Leader, you will be supported to grow your leadership capability, share your expertise, and make a lasting difference every day.
Joining MindChamps means you will have access to:
• Permanent employment offering stability and long-term career opportunities.
• Competitive remuneration that recognises your qualifications, leadership skills, experience, and contribution.
• Career progression pathways into Educational Leadership, Centre Leadership, and future management
opportunities.
• Ongoing professional development, training, and access to industry-leading early childhood practices.
• Supportive leadership teams who value your ideas, expertise, and professional growth.
• Opportunities to collaborate with educators across our global network of centres.
• A workplace culture built on teamwork, respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
