Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC); Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC); and Coopers Stadium (CS); in addition to functions and events at The Drive.

The Role

This is a hands-on, physical role where you’ll help set up and pack down event spaces for conferences, concerts, exhibitions and other events.

Your work will include moving furniture and equipment, setting up tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, seating and operable walls. You’ll also help keep equipment, storage areas and event spaces clean, organised and ready for the next event.

You’ll work closely with our event teams and venue hirers to make sure everything is set up safely and looks great. You may also operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and elevated work platforms once trained and authorised.

This role involves regular lifting, pushing, pulling and moving furniture and equipment, and being on your feet for most of your shift.

You’re reliable, practical and enjoy working as part of a team. You’re not afraid of physical work and take pride in getting the job done safely and to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone who:
Enjoys physical, hands-on work
Is comfortable moving furniture and equipment
Is reliable and works well in a team
Has good attention to detail
Follows safety procedures
Is flexible to work across events, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Has previous experience in events, venues, warehousing or similar work (desirable, but not essential)
