The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 / Intune Lead to join our growing technical team. This is a technical leadership role where you’ll own the design, architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of modern workplace solutions for our partners and their clients.

As the technical lead, you’ll provide strategic direction across Microsoft 365, Intune, and End User Computing (EUC), ensuring secure, scalable, and best-practice solutions. You’ll work closely with Cloud, Network, and Security teams, lead complex customer engagements, mentor engineers, and act as the primary technical authority for Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the Microsoft Modern Workplace practice, influence technical strategy, mentor a high-performing engineering team, and deliver innovative solutions for customers across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune environments across multiple customer environments.
• Own the technical delivery of End User Computing (EUC) and Digital Workplace solutions.
• Architect and implement Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Windows Autopilot, Conditional Access, Compliance Policies, and Microsoft Defender security solutions.
• Lead large-scale Microsoft 365 migration projects, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and hybrid environments.
• Oversee application packaging, deployment, version management, and endpoint standardisation using Microsoft Intune.
• Design and implement Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity, authentication, and access management solutions.
• Configure and manage SharePoint Online permissions and governance aligned with client security and compliance requirements.
• Develop automation using PowerShell to improve operational efficiency, deployment consistency, and service delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers while promoting engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Network, and Cyber Security teams to deliver integrated infrastructure and modern workplace solutions.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, customer onboarding, and solution design sessions.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, standards, governance frameworks, and operational procedures.
• Act as the Microsoft Modern Workplace Subject Matter Expert (SME) across internal teams and customer engagements.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years’ experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune environments.
• Extensive experience leading complex Microsoft 365 migration and Intune deployment projects.
• Deep expertise across Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Autopilot, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft 365 Security.
• Strong background in End User Computing (EUC), Digital Workplace, Endpoint Management, and Cloud Operations.
• Proven experience packaging and deploying Windows applications using Microsoft Intune.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture, identity management, endpoint security, compliance, and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical teams, and driving delivery excellence.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.

Desirable Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: MD-102 – Endpoint Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: AZ-104 – Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Security certifications (SC-300, SC-400, or equivalent) are highly regarded.
