New opportunity to join Supagas as a Paralegal/ Contracts Specialist.  

Based out of our Head Office in Liverpool, you will support and service the group head and Supagas legal team in the review, amendment, and negotiation of contracts and other key documents, including those with multi-national and large national companies.

In addition you will support the Compliance and Legal team on a variety of matters to ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.  

Specifically, you will: 

• Act as the key contact for contract and document review, amendment, negotiation and assistance, quality assurance processes. 
• Review, amend and negotiate agreements with third party service providers and suppliers .
• Maintain a central register of agreements and ensure company documents are current and compliant. 

• Support internal stakeholders through training, guidance and assistance. 
• Research including the interpretation of legislation when appropriate
• Analyse compliance, legal, and governance problems
• Work collaboratively within the team to deliver accurate, high-quality support while meeting KPIs and professional development goals. 

You possess:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in commercial contract management including reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial documents.
• Advanced written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information, perspectives and advice to various stakeholders. 
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., contract management software, MS Office suite). 
• High degree of commercial acumen. 
• Ability to think strategically, through a legal and analytical lens. 
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple teams. 

• A self-motivated, results-focused mindset the ability to manage conflicting priorities and high work volumes without affecting quality of service and delivery.
