The Workshop undertakes a range of tasks to manage Macmahon’s fleet of mobile equipment, as well as maintenance projects for external clients. The workshop is undercover and houses the rebuild workshop, quarantine, sandblast and paint shop, component workshop and warehouse store. 

Our maintenance teams take pride in keeping our sites operating safely and efficiently. You’ll work with skilled people, who look out for each other and take pride in doing the job right. Together, we keep our fleet safe and reliable.  

About the Role 

You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on various light vehicles at our Perth Workshop. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities 

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on various light vehicles – Forklifts, Landcruiser, Ancillary work on Compressors, Medium Rigid Trucks, Gen Sets and Air Compressors;
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

What You’ll Bring 

• Australian Recognised Trades Certificate (Cert III in Light Vehicle)
• High Risk Licence - LF (essential)
• High Risk Licence – Dogging and Rigging (desirable)
• Ability to work autonomously
• Have 5 years’ experience post apprenticeship
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality
• Current unrestricted C Class MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
