Victorian Sales Executive

At HM Gin, we are a proud Victorian father-daughter founded distillery with our brand built on a shared passion for great tasting gins and shared connections. We’ve quickly grown into a multi-award-winning distillery with a strong presence across Victoria’s hospitality scene. Our range has taken out top global honors at the World Gin Awards, including Australia's Best Contemporary Gin and Australia's Best London Dry. To support our continued growth we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven Sales Executive who knows their way around the Victorian spirits and hospitality scene to join our team.
The RoleIf you love great spirits, enjoy getting out on the road, and thrive on building genuine connections, we want to hear from you. This role is focused on driving sales, account growth and brand presence across Melbourne’s top bars, restaurants, venues, and independent bottle shops.Account Management & Growth: Nurture our existing customer base to the highest standard whilst actively prospecting and converting new venue and retail leads.Brand Education: Conduct engaging onsite staff training for our customers focusing on our spirits, brand story, and serve recommendations.Activations & Tastings: Plan, implement and drive venue activations, in-store retail tastings, market pop-ups, and consumer events.Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a key face of HM Gin at industry events, gin festivals, and consumer tastings (including occasional interstate travel).
About YouIndustry Experience: Proven background in hospitality or alcohol sales with the right connections.Natural Connector: You love meeting people, presenting and telling the story behind our brand.Highly Organized: Self-motivated, reliable, structured, and capable of efficiently managing your own weekly call schedule.Character: Positive, energetic, trustworthy and results driven.Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events, tastings, and venue activations.Curious: You ask the right questions to identify commercial opportunities, pain points, and gaps.Numbers driven: You leverage sales data and market insights to evaluate opportunities, prioritize high-value leads, and make sound commercial decisions.
