Casual Deli Team Member- Afternoon & Evening Shifts

IGA Buddina is a proudly independent, locally owned supermarket located just minutes from the beach. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Deli Team Member to join our team, primarily working afternoon and evening shifts.

About the role

You'll be a part of our deli team, helping provide great food and friendly service to our customers.

Your duties will include:

• Serving customers and providing cheerful, helpful service

• Preparing and packaging deli products

• Food preparation and presentation

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

• Replenishing stock and keeping the deli area well presented

• Working as part of a supportive team

• Assisting with closing and cleaning duties during evening shifts

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

• Able to work afternoons and evenings

• Has some weekend availability

• Friendly, approachable and enjoys dealing with customers

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment

• Well presented and takes pride in their work

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Previous deli, food handling or customer service experience highly advantageous but not essential

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
