Delivery Driver/Storeman

About the role

Architectural Aluminium is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver/Storeman to join our team based in Penrith, NSW. This is a pivotal role that combines warehouse management with customer-facing delivery responsibilities. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently whilst maintaining the integrity of our stock and warehouse operations. This position is essential to our operational success, supporting our commitment to delivering quality products and exceptional service to our clients across Sydney.

What you'll be doing

• Operating delivery vehicle to transport aluminium windows and doors to customer locations across Sydney

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring products are properly secured and protected during transit

• Receiving and processing incoming stock, verifying deliveries against documentation and recording items in our warehouse management system

• Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory, ensuring stock is stored correctly and remains easily accessible

• Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and trollies in accordance with safety protocols

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards

• Interacting professionally with customers during deliveries, providing exceptional service.

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's licence (Car as a minimum)

• Experience in warehouse operations, stock management or delivery driving roles

• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, with relevant certifications preferred

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

• Physical fitness and capability to lift and handle heavy items regularly throughout the day

• Attention to detail, particularly when recording inventory and processing orders

• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions

• Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules

• Basic computer literacy

• A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with workplace regulations

• Flexibility to adapt to changing warehouse demands and priorities
