Dental Assistant Permanent Part Time Blackwood and Daw Park

Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant (~20 hours/week) -  Blackwood & Daw Park

We require a dental assistant preferably with experience to work part time at our two surgeries, full days on Monday, Wednesday, and every second Saturday morning.

Some reception duties may also be required for this role.

Training will be provided prior to beginning the role all whilst on full pay.  

We are a modern dental practice with high standards, the position will start at casual rates (dependant on award level )  while on probation,  then change to permanent part time.

Experience is an advantage however applicants with little to no experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Preparing treatment rooms and instruments for various procedures.

• Sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment and instruments.

• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.

• Managing patient records and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
