For the right person, there is potential for the position to continue beyond the initial six-month contract.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Managing performance concerns and supporting disciplinary processes where required
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, induction and ongoing staff development
Ensuring appropriate staffing and operational coverage across services
Overseeing participant service delivery and responding to participant or family concerns
Monitoring incidents, complaints, risks and corrective actions
Ensuring participant documentation and organisational records remain current and compliant
Supporting NDIS Practice Standards, registration requirements and audit readiness
Monitoring restrictive practice, behaviour support and other higher-risk supports where applicable
Identifying operational risks and implementing practical solutions
Reviewing systems and processes and recommending improvements
Supporting staff training and competency requirements
Conducting regular leadership and operational meetings
Working collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators, allied health professionals and other stakeholders
Supporting the Director with strategic and operational priorities
Providing clear reporting on staffing, participants, incidents, compliance and operational performance
We are looking for someone who is:
A strong and confident leader
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
Comfortable having difficult conversations and addressing performance concerns
Able to make decisions independently and take accountability for outcomes
Proactive rather than reactive
Approachable and supportive while maintaining professional boundaries
Experienced in managing teams within a fast-paced environment
Confident working within policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Able to quickly understand an established organisation and its systems
Able to identify gaps and implement practical improvements
An excellent communicator with strong written documentation skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality disability supports
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous management or senior leadership experience within disability, community services, health or a related sector
Strong knowledge of the NDIS and person-centred service delivery
Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and provider compliance requirements
Experience managing staff performance and workplace issues
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
Current Working with Children/Blue Card where required
Current First Aid and CPR
Current Australian driver's licence
Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Human Services, Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
What We OfferAt Learn to Live, you'll have the opportunity to take on a genuine leadership role where you can influence how services are delivered and how the organisation continues to develop.
We offer:
A full-time 6-month fixed-term contract
Opportunity to extend for the right person
A genuine leadership position with responsibility and autonomy
A supportive and established team
Variety across operational, staff and participant management
The opportunity to implement ideas and improve systems
A workplace focused on quality, accountability and participant outcomes
Ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of the role from the outset.
You will be trusted to manage the day-to-day operation of the organisation, support your team, address issues when they arise and keep things moving.
The initial appointment will be for six months, providing an opportunity for both Learn to Live and the successful applicant to build a strong working relationship. There is potential for the position to be extended beyond the initial contract period for the right candidate.
If you're an experienced disability services leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving systems and creating high-quality services for participants, we'd love to hear from you.
To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your leadership experience and why you would be a great fit for Learn to Live Disability Services.
