Supply and Distribution Manager

XYZ Dental (a subsidiary of Giorgio Group Holdings) is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Manager to manage and coordinate procurement, purchasing, inventory, storage, international imports and distribution activities across the business.

We supply dental equipment, machinery, materials and consumables throughout Australia, with products sourced from Australian and international suppliers.

The role is responsible for managing purchasing and supplier relationships, coordinating international imports and freight, maintaining appropriate inventory and stock levels, and supporting regulatory and product traceability requirements associated with the storage and supply of dental and medical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, purchasing, inventory planning, forecasting and stock availability across the business.

• Plan and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution requirements to maintain appropriate stock levels and continuity of supply.

• Manage international suppliers and coordinate international imports into Australia, including freight, shipping and customs processes.

• Monitor supplier performance, lead times and supply chain costs, and manage stock shortages, delays and other supply issues.

• Monitor inventory systems and stock levels to meet supply requirements and ensure appropriate re-ordering and replenishment.

• Coordinate and track the movement, storage and distribution of goods throughout the supply chain.

• Coordinate outward goods, freight and transportation requirements for the distribution of products throughout Australia.

• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, storage and shipment records, including product traceability and documentation required within a regulated supply environment.

• Support compliance with applicable TGA requirements relating to the importation, storage and supply of dental and medical products in Australia.

Skills and Experience

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.

• Demonstrated professional experience of a minimum of 3 years in supply chain management, procurement, purchasing, inventory management and logistics.

• Demonstrated experience managing international suppliers and coordinating international imports into Australia.

• Experience with inventory forecasting, stock control, purchasing and ERP or inventory management systems. Experience in Cin7 Core and Netstock highly regarded.

• Experience using HubSpot CRM or similar business systems to maintain supplier, purchasing, product and operational records and support supply chain workflows.

• Experience coordinating freight, transportation and the distribution of goods on both a national and international level.

• Knowledge of Australian TGA requirements relevant to the importation and supply of dental or medical products, including product traceability and documentation requirements.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of Excel for inventory analysis, forecasting and supply chain reporting.

Experience working within the dental, medical or healthcare supply industry will be regarded favourably.

This is a full-time, office-based position located in Melbourne, Victoria.
