About the role
Kick-start a career in wine warehousing and logistics, with hands-on, structured training that brings you close to some of the great wines of the world from day one. Cinderella Wine Experience, based in Redfern, is looking for an entry-level Wine Cellar team member to help run the daily flow of wine in and out of our warehouse.
Key responsibilities
Receive and check incoming wine deliveries
Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately
Coordinate with couriers, freight and external warehouse/drop shipping partners
Manage stock records, stocktakes and warehouse organisation
Open and close the building, and take responsibility for site security
Support occasional evening events and liaise with suppliers
Handle direct sales to consumers, including phone and online enquiries and orders
About you
Willing to learn, full training given, no prior warehousing or wine experience required, but prior industry experience is highly regarded.
A sharp eye for detail
Comfortable talking with customers and confident handling direct sales enquiries
Able to lift and carry up to 20kg regularly and manage repetitive physical tasks
Safety-conscious, with a genuine sense of responsibility for site security
Hold, or are willing to obtain, a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
Available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with occasional flexibility for evening events
Have the right to live and work in Australia
Experience in a bottle shop, cellar door, hospitality, or warehouse and logistics setting is a bonus, not essential
