Civil Project Manager

Our client URGENTLY requires a Civil Project Manager for 12 months + Contracts on the Gold Coast.

The Civil Project Manager will manage the delivery of key components of the road infrastructure program and provide specialist technical expertise and advice to infrastructure projects and to other professional and technical staff to ensure successful delivery of the projects within time, quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Provide high level engineering advice and input into planning and design suitability and options, the use of materials, resources, components or systems within the project, and construction practices and problems to ensure project success, value for money and best practice are achieved.
• Manage the operational aspects of project delivery to ensure the effective and efficient use of systems and processes involved with all phases of the project management model.
• Supervise and coordinate resource allocation with the expectation that you would encourage effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude toward the achievement of organisational objectives.
• Identify and manage networks and alliances of all stakeholders and manage the expectations and issues of all parties, including identifying possible political and high-risk matters to ensure they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Government experience would be highly advantageous.
