Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Team Lead to join their expanding CFO Advisory division.

This is more than just a payroll role. You'll lead a collaborative team delivering outsourced payroll services to a diverse client base while partnering with businesses to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations. You'll also play a key role in mentoring your team, improving processes and helping shape the future of the payroll function.

• Lead, mentor and support a team of payroll professionals
• Oversee the end to end delivery of payroll services across a diverse client portfolio
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately, efficiently and in line with Australian legislation
• Provide advice on payroll compliance, awards, Fair Work, STP, PAYG and superannuation
• Build strong, long term relationships with clients and act as their trusted payroll specialist
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows and processes
• Collaborate with the broader CFO Advisory team to deliver outstanding client outcomes

About You You'll bring:

• Previous experience leading or mentoring a payroll team
• Strong end to end payroll experience within Australia
• Public Practice experience
• Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, STP, PAYG and superannuation
• Experience managing multiple payrolls across different industries
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
• Experience using cloud based payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, MYOB or similar
