High-Reach Forklift Operator

In this role you will be supporting our Lytton Distribution Centre, picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts and working within a chiller/freezer environment.  

We are seeking experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators to work on our various shifts - you will be entitled to Afternoon/Night shift loading: 

• Afternoon Dispatch (Tues-Fri 13:45pm to 22:06pm, Sat 8:00am-4:21pm)  
• Night Dispatch (Mon-Fri 10:00pm to 6:21am)

Daily Tasks:

• High Reach/LO stock-picker/Counterbalance forklift driving
• Unloading/loading inbound and outbound stock and efficiently stacking pallets
• Quality control: Ensuring shipment accuracy, checking and reporting quality variances
• Picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts
• Completing manual handling duties – lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
• Identifying and escalating, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks

You Will Bring to this Role:

• A Current LF/LO license (at least 12 months of experience)
• High Reach and Counterbalance experience (Required)
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures
• Work well within a team environment
• Communicate well both written and verbally
• Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
• Work in a chiller/freezer environment
• Physically fit and repetitively lift up to 20kg
