Do you want to help bring arts, culture and community to life on Redlands Coast? We're looking for a passionate and organised Associate Producer to join the team at the Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC). This is an exciting opportunity to work with artists, community groups, cultural organisations and stakeholders to deliver inspiring programs and events that enrich the lives of our community.

In this role, you'll help create, coordinate and deliver high-quality arts and cultural experiences that connect people, showcase creativity and support the growth of a vibrant local arts sector. From community events and cultural initiatives to artist engagement and program delivery, you'll play a key role in helping bring great ideas to life.

While initially offered as a contract opportunity, there is strong potential for longer-term employment in this role. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of arts, cultural and community programs and events.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with artists, performers, community groups and industry stakeholders.
• Engaging with local communities to ensure programs are inclusive, relevant and responsive to community interests.
• Assisting with program administration, including contracts, budgets, scheduling and reporting.
• Coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes.
• Contributing innovative ideas and creative approaches to audience engagement and program delivery.
• Supporting sustainable and effective program practices aligned with Council objectives.

Skills and experience:

• Experience coordinating arts, cultural, community or event-based programs and initiatives.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated experience in administration, budgeting, scheduling and contract coordination.
• Well-developed communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
• A passion for arts, culture and community engagement.
• Experience working with First Nations communities and artists will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and experience using event management systems or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
